Healing with horses
One of the cornerstones of my approach involves the healing presence of horses. They are one of our planet’s most intuitive and authentic animals and provide a pathway to reconnect to the natural world. Horses are not burdened by “thinking” so they become an access point for us to come into “being”.
As highly sensitive beings, horses require calm, respectful, authentic interaction to feel safe in our presence. These are the qualities children, parents and care providers need to grow and succeed in the world. We can practice achieving these states with horses as our teachers.
Woven throughout my sessions and events I share teachings, videos and in-person experiences with the horses as our guides. The wisdom they bring to heal our hearts and our relationships is truly magical.
What is Equine-Facilitated Wellness?
Equine-Facilitated Wellness is a heart-centred experience which creates new and profound insights. It incorporates my training in the FEEL (Facilitated Equine Experiential Learning)® approach, a leading edge modality which involves the horses’ willing participation as partners in assisting humans to discover their potential. Interacting on the ground with a horse is a unique time of discovery and reflection which raises consciousness for both humans and horses.
You don’t need experience with horses, just an openness to what these gentle, wise souls are here to teach. Engaging with horses allows you to create a relationship with a being who offers unconditional support and love without judgment. These intimate ‘felt’ moments foster transformation and healing at a deep level, while connecting you to something greater.
I offer private sessions at two locations for individuals, families and small groups of professionals. Contact me to learn more and to book your session.
